“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”
Terry Pratchett,A Hat Full of Sky

I’m not quite sure how this will work - the more plans I make, the more constraints it creates. However, I promise to write, and this is what I have in mind:

Postcards from the Edge.

Free to all. Nothing to do with the Carrie Fisher film, just snapshots of what I’m noticing when I notice them. I’ll post them here and also use the notes and chat features and see how that works.

Weekly Journal

Free to all. A summary of my week’s journal notes on a Wednesday (as that seems to have become the “New Artisans” day.)

Monthly (plus as neededz`s) Meetings on Zoom.

For paid subscribers. Probably with a theme, and intended to support others following their own thread. Limited to eighteen people, bookable via Eventbrite.

That’s about it. I’m all packed, and all I have to do now is check that I’ve locked the doors behind me.

I’ll do that tomorrow.

There will be a free open Zoom call for subscribers at 6:00 pm UK on Wednesday, 6th September.

Maximum 18 places.

Morning Marie. I’m leaving old ways of working to explore new ones. To move away from re-processing other people’s work to generating my own and taking responsibility for it rather than hiding behind others, even those whose work I love. I am leaving commentary to explore creativity.

This post intends just to flag a change in rhythm

If you have time, join us on the call on 6th Sept- I think you’ll find some interesting people there...
